Little Artist

A few days ago, I tried to show Janae how to draw a stick person (which is about all I can draw!). She didn't seem to have any interest at the time. However, yesterday she was working really hard at her chalkboard for quite a while. When she was finished, this is what she had to show me:This is her drawing of Daddy. I was very impressed - Daddy has hair (she is so kind!!), ears, eyes, a nose, a smile (the straight line across his face), arms and legs (which come right out of his head), shoes, and a bow-tie (the questionable looking "blob" between his legs). I thought this was very good for her first attempt at a person!
The proud artist!

P.S. Jeff does not wear bow-ties - a character in her current
favorite movie - Meet the Robinson's - wears one.

that's so cute! I'm glad you explained the bow-tie... I was wondering a little ;) Janae looks so proud!

Tim and I are right there with Sarah. Thanks for the bow tie explanation. Thanks for making me laugh! By the way, Jeff might look great in a bow tie. Think how happy Janae would be! She is getting so big. I have pictures that Sarah, Jeff and Em did of people with their legs sticking out of their bodies... good memories. Emily was looking at some old school papers when she was home at Christmas and was noticing how all her letters were backwards.
