Baking with Grammy.....finally

Okay...so these are the pictures I was trying to post a few days ago. (I gave up after that last post, and then just got too busy. Better late than never, right?) We spent Memorial Day weekend in Salem with Jeff's parents to celebrate his birthday. Janae and Grammy made a cupcake cake for dessert. J did a great job with the frosting and sprinkles. Grammy and Grandpa were also brave enough to babysit so that Jeff and I could go out on a date! Thanks again!

As far as the venting over my frustrations goes...it sounds really dumb now. =) But here is the short version for those of you wondering:

We had sold our dog crate on craigslist and had tried several times to connect with the girl who was buying it - but for one reason or another, she was never able to make our planned meetings (this happened like 3 times, or so). I had just given up and was about to re-post the crate, when she called and told me that she was leaving her office in 45 min. and would be to the house. I thought "great! This will work out finally!" I had been wanting to go to the mall, so I told Janae that we would go as soon as the lady came to pick up the crate. As you can probably guess, she did not show up when expected. I had the girls ready to go, and was just waiting on her. So I thought I would post the baking picts while I was waiting...that obviously didn't go well either - I was just frustrated. Anyway, the lady did finally show up (about 1 1/2 hours late) and we did go to the mall, where I got some cute new clothes, so that definitely cheered me up!
