Another new dress

Janae is so tall and skinny that all of her church dresses look like mini-skirts, even though they are too big around. She needs a 3T for the fit and a 6T for the length....so I decided I would start making her dresses for a while. Last week I bought several fabrics, trims, zippers, etc. so that I could start on her new Sunday wardrobe. The pattern I bought has 6 options and all are VERY easy - perfect since it is a challenge finding a solid chunk of time to sew.
Her hair is crazy from a busy day of playing, so please ignore the huge dolphin on her head (I took these right before putting jammies on...) Beans would not cooperate and pose normal for me. Maybe this is her normal...who knows!
Twirling and spinning.....
For some reason she got really upset with me that I put ribbon around the bottom of the dress. She yelled and cried about it for a few minutes when she saw what I'd done (but I was not going to rip it out after I'd already put it on). As soon as Daddy said that he loved the ribbon on the bottom and he thought it was beautiful, she changed her mind and decided she liked it....good thing Daddy saved the day!!

I love the dress! How easy is it, and is it cheaper to do than to actually buy one? Kadee is also skinny but very tall, people think she's almost 4 when she's not even 3.
You're girls are so adorable they were so fun at andreas shower! Where did you get the pattern at? I have a sewing machine I just don't use it often cause I don't know how to use it.
