Janae is so tall and skinny that all of her church dresses look like mini-skirts, even though they are too big around. She needs a 3T for the fit and a 6T for the length....so I decided I would start making her dresses for a while. Last week I bought several fabrics, trims, zippers, etc. so that I could start on her new Sunday wardrobe. The pattern I bought has 6 options and all are VERY easy - perfect since it is a challenge finding a solid chunk of time to sew.
Her hair is crazy from a busy day of playing, so please ignore the huge dolphin on her head (I took these right before putting jammies on...) Beans would not cooperate and pose normal for me. Maybe this is her normal...who knows!

Oh I love it! I heart paisley!
You are so talented! She looks like such a happy little girl dancing for the camera. Oh...and I wanted to say that your girls are a perfect mix of you and Jeff! They are both adorable!
Cute dress... my oldest has the same problem. Size 4 around but size 8 in legnth. Hmmmm... I'm gonna have to pull out my sewing machine.
Yay... Jeff saves the day! Too cute.
I love the dress. You are so lucky you know how to sew!
Super cute, I love purple and I think the ribbons add a perfect finishing touch. Can't wait to see her in it at church. You are very talented!
Super cute dress and super talented mom! I'm so impressed by people who know how to sew. Definitely not one of my talents.
So cute! I wish I were a better seamstress. I'm glad Jeff was there to save the day. :o)
I'm impressed that you know how to sew! That's awesome! Cute dress on a cute girl :)
I love the dress! How easy is it, and is it cheaper to do than to actually buy one? Kadee is also skinny but very tall, people think she's almost 4 when she's not even 3.
You're girls are so adorable they were so fun at andreas shower! Where did you get the pattern at? I have a sewing machine I just don't use it often cause I don't know how to use it.
