First Hair Cut

On Monday, we finally cut Janae's hair for the first time. We had trimmed it before (about 1/2 inch or so) to make it even, but we'd never cut any length off. Recently though, the ends were looking really damaged and scragaly, so we convinced her to "trim" her hair. Her stipulation was that Grandma be the one to do it. Luckily my parents were coming up, so the timing worked out great.

Here is a picture of her about a month ago that really shows her hair length.

Eating a sucker while Grandma "trims" about 4 inches off.
All done! Even cutting off 4", you can hardly tell the difference. I think Jeff and I are the only ones who can tell - we have fewer tangles to contend with now!

I didn't know Grandma could cut hair! That's funny that Janae had to have her do it! Her hair was REALLY long!!

I could not tell... that is some seriously long hair.
Crys is convinced that she wants "Hannah Montana" hair, meaning that she wants really LONG hair and won't let me trim it at all... I get her bangs but that is it. UGH! Her hair is tangly and looking ratty... I'm gonna have to bribe with new shoes again. Hee hee ;o)

Thank goodness for grandmas. Her hair is still super-long, but now it's healthy!
