Dancing Queen

Last weekend was Janae's very first dance recital. She has been taking dance (ballet/jazz) all school year from a lady in our ward. One of the many great things about that is that she was already friends with most of the girls in her dance class because we all go to church together.
Here are Janae, M and M waiting before the recital started. They were ready to go in their Teddy Bear dance outfits.

That get-ready-room was crazy! The dancers ranged in age from 5 to 14 (I think...). Tutus, makeup and leggings were flying everywhere. J was very excited to get to wear eyeshadow and lip gloss!Beans getting ready for the Minnie and Me dance.Afterward - she was soooo tired by this point. We had to beg her to stand for a picture. She did great - we are very proud of her!
Here are the videos of her dancing. The teachers stood off to the side and did the dances with the girls, so you might see glimpses of them (and you'll see that the girls keep looking over there). I loved that because otherwise I think the girls would have been too nervous and would've just stood there.
