So I finally decided on nursery bedding/decor for Baby Keira's bedroom. There are so many CUTE options in the stores that I couldn't decide for a long time. Here is the catalog picture of the bedding I have ordered.

This is the mobile for the crib.
Another obstical for me to overcome in my decorating was the paint color. I knew I wanted a pale yellow, but which shade??? I think I have come to a decision on that too. "Coconut Cream" seems the best out of all the test splotches I have painted on the wall. This afternoon I made a simple valance to dress up the window a little. It is plain purple cotton fabric, same as the crib skirt that I bought.

Here is what the room looks like right now.

I hope to start painting next week. It is wierd to think that in just a few months we will have another little girl to spoil!

I would go with the most pale yellow, because yellow seems to get brighter when you paint the whole room. I love the bedding!
I agree. Pale yellow. It will look pretty with that set. I love the green and the purple bedding and the mobile. I'd have chosen it too. I was trying to figure out what the 'Winnie the Pooh' looking thing on the wall was and then I determined it was your paint splotches! Good luck getting ready for Baby Keira. Guess I'll have to wait for the third girl for Laurel!
Hey Heather! I'm glad my mom told me you had a blog... It's very cute. I really like the growing baby thing on the side. Keira's room is going to look CUTE! We did yellow in Olivia's room too. It is SO hard to choose a good yellow.Whatever you do choose one with less green hues to it... greenish yellows look kinda sickly on a wall! Good Luck!
Beautiful bedding and I do love the idea of pale yellow on the walls. I can't wait see the finished result you crafty lady!
About your other posts: I'm so scared to potty train Cade. I'm lucky to have my sister and other friends going through it so I can learn what works and what doesn't from them (you)!
And your backyard looks great! It's amazing what some seed, fertilizer, water, and a lot of help can do! Way to go! Now the challenge is to keep it looking great. That's my struggle. Good luck!
